This allows an audience of up to 200 people to attend an open-air concert.
A thorough risk assessment has been carried out and approved by the local environmental health department that covers the safety of the audience, artists and staff.
The site is a small paddock at FolkEast HQ in Blaxhall, Suffolk
Please read the information below before booking a pitch.
Most importantly …
We are asking all artists, crew and audience alike not to attend should they show symptoms of COVID 19 or if they have been contacted by the official track and trace team up to, and including, 10 days prior to the event.
How will it work ?
The arena will be divided up into 30, 4m x 4m picnic pitches laid out on a grid system.
Each pitch is for a bubble of up to six people, friends and/or family.
Between each pitch there will be a 2.5 metre wide aisle, laid out in grid with a one way system in place. This will give plenty of space for you to stretch your legs during your time on site.
The guidelines state that there is an additional risk of infection from singing and cheering so no matter how much you appreciate the performance or would like to join in, please only clap loudly.
The artists who will be singing on stage will be a minimum of 7m from the front picnic pitch (a 6m distance is the required guideline.)
All artists, staff and crew will be adhering to the recommended guidelines at all times.
It is important to us that we all observe the continuing government guidelines on physical distancing. Please help us all to keep safe
Clear signage will be evident around the site asking people to use the one way systems and to respect each others space by social distancing.
We ask that you stay within your bubble during the event and not mix with people from other bubbles.
Signage will be in place on the way in and out of the site outlining the signs of the virus asking people to inform a member of staff should they start to feel any of the symptoms of COVID 19 so that the appropriate action can take place.
What if I feel unwell?
There will be an isolation tent set up in a quiet area of the site should anyone report symptoms while on site or feel unwell.
We will have two first aiders on site with us at all times.
Ok. Toilets?
There will be portable toilets on site that will be clearly signed. These will be regularly checked and cleaned.
Sanitiser stations will be set up alongside the portable toilets and signs will ask you to sanitise on the way in as well as on the way out.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
Yes! We are actively encouraging you to bring your own picnic. There will not be any food or drink concessions on site. Please see our Virtually FolkEast Booking information for more information on what to bring.
Can I bring my dog?
Registered Assistance dogs only will be allowed on site and details given when booking a pitch.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
