The Art Arcade
Welcome to The Art Arcade 2023
This year marks ten years of the Art Arcade and we are incredibly proud of how curator, Mandy Walden, has grown this popular part of the festival . From small beginnings of just six stalls to over 40, the FolkEast Art Arcade has become a major celebration of some of the finest local artists and creators.

Social Knitworks
We’re delighted to say that the Social Knitworks ladies are back with us at FolkEast this year.
Not only will they be on hand to share their love of knitting and crochet, but this year their theme is ‘Sustainability’.
They’ll be displaying ways you can take your old or tatty clothes, hats or bags and give them a new lease of life, by showing you how you can upcycle items through the art of knitting, crochet and embroidery.
Bring along your pre-loved clothes, hats and other items and give them a new lease of life by popping along to help yourself to some yarn or embroidery thread to jazz up your clothing to make it completely unique!
