Virtually FolkEast

Virtually FolkEast is our very own online offering that will be coming to a screen near you on Sunday 23rd August with Virtually FolkEastLive , an afternoon and early evening concert that will take place , in front of a small, live audience, streamed direct to you.

There will be contributions online and on the website from from the Soapbox Stage, Broad Roots, Sanctuary Space, Dance tent and Art Arcade as well as a few bits in between.

We are excited to announce that East Suffolk Council have granted us a licence to go ahead with not only one but two live concerts over the FolkEast weekend. This means that we will be running an identical concert on Sunday 23rd August (without the live streaming) so that we can bring live music to more people,

Registration for  tickets to the live concerts will be available from Saturday 8th August on our Virtually FolkEast Booking information page. Please read the following Information Virtually FolkEast & COVID-19  before booking.

Look out for more details on our social media platforms and here , on our Virtually FolkEast page.

The monies raised from the online event through the sale of picnic pitches and donations  will be used to support the artists , contributors  and  crew who make it all happen.

This is new territory for us all and although we can guarantee that all measures will be taken to make the event COVID Secure according to Government guidelines , it can never be 100% secure. We will be working closely with them and monitoring the situation on a day to day basis . Necessary steps to cancel the concerts will be taken  should the need arise. Fingers crossed.
