The members of Rosewood have been performing together for the past 18 years in various ensembles including a ceilidh band, The Hosepipe Band and BOF!, a group specialising in traditional French music.
Rosewood started in 2013 to explore a repertoire of songs and tunes from the 16th to the 21st century performed on an unusual array of instruments, including melodeon, concertina, recorders, bagpipes, flute, saxophone, guitar, ukulele and voices. Their first recording, Rife and Strife and Mirth and Fun, is available from the group or from the band or their website www.rosewoodhand.co.uk
