The Sandlings Sessions returns in February 2018 to the glorious Snape Maltings, after the success of last years inaugural festival, with even more workshops, performances and dance, to drive the cold winter away.
We can already can confirm an eclectic programme to include the following…
Friday 2 February – Boldwood lead us in to the festival with a joyful and festive dance, called by Dave Shepherd.
Saturday 3 February – A wide range of workshops to suit all abilities and tastes with, Boldwood, The Young’uns, Rob Harbron, Miranda Rutter, Sam Sweeney, John Spiers and Dave Shepherd.
The day will peppered with intimate performances alongside workshops, culminating in a gathering of guest musicians for a special evenings concert.
Sunday 4 February – The festival will conclude with an outing – more details to follow, but bring your walking boots!
As well as programmed activity, there will be time and space for impromptu sessions and dances, local food and the famous FolkEast bar.
Tickets will be available from the Snape Maltings website in early September, where there will be a range of ticketing options to suit all from £10 for an evening dance to £50 for a whole weekend pass.
