Eastfolk In Bloom

Calling all Campers and Traders

Every summer, communities up and down the country come to life in a cacophony of colour as they take up their spades and pot up their petunias to compete in the
RHS Britain in Bloom.

Thank you to everyone who took part in our inaugural Eastfolk in Bloom. Congratulations to the Mini-pond area and the Cobbled Arms for scooping the on site rosettes and to the many campsite contributors …

The Sunday morning “Gardener’s Cornered” was a delight with Steve Coghill, Senior Horticulturalist of Kings College Cambridge and joined by John Spiers, Melodeon Allotmenteer, and Pete Flood, Drumming Botanist  answering  your horticultural,  fungi and leek queries.

In 2018 we will building on the success of the floral fantasies created and encouraging one and all to take part in creating the most colourful and sweet smelling festival site known to man.

We will be working with Active Gardens in Ipswich to produce more on site displays, their eye catching begonias were to be seen on the Easter FolkIsland Roundabout. Thank you to Johnny White for his Easter Island Bath Heads…..

Let your horticultural imagination run wild…..

We look forward to seeing you at FolkEast 2018
