Eastfolk In Bloom

Calling all Campers and Campers

Every summer, communities up and down the country come to life in a cacophony of colour as they take up their spades and pot up their petunias to compete in the
RHS Britain in Bloom.

Here at FolkEast we are creating our own blooming competition, looking to create a floral haven in a field… and we would like you to join in and deck your stall , tent, camper van, caravan, bicycle  with bowers of flowers or even a pot or two.

Judging will take place on Friday 19th  August by a Respectable and Revered Committee of Judges.

Rosettes and Certificates will be given to be proudly displayed over the weekend.

… and an extra bonus for campers, a chance to win Tickets for FolkEast 2018!

One again, the Sunday morning ” Gardener’s Cornered” will be hosted  by Steve Coghill , Senior Horticulturalist of Kings College Cambridge and joined by John Spiers , Melodeon Allotmenteer, and Pete Flood, Drumming Botanist  to answer your horticultural ,  fungi and leek queries. You are most welcome to bring along photographs and / or an item to be  discussed.

Pete will also be leading a nature walk through the grounds of Glemham Hall.

Let your horticultural imagination run wild…..

We look forward to seeing you at FolkEast 2017
